Huatulco – Scuba Diving

Huatulco is the ideal destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. Here you’ll find coral reefs that are the natural habitat of such species as angelfish, sea snails, crabs, puffer fish, marlins and turtles. You can also explore the remains of sunken ships.

Bahias de Huatulco is made up of nine bays and located on Oaxaca’s Coast, at the end of the Southern Sierra Madre. Its topography is populated by mountains, valleys and hillsides, irrigated by the Coyula, San Agustin and Copalita rivers.

Oaxaca State is found southwest of Mexico limit to the north with the State of Veracruz and with the State of Puebla; to the south, with the Pacific Ocean, to the west with the State of Chiapas and to the West with the State of Guerrero.

Oaxaca occupy a surface of 93,952 km2 (4.85% of the total surface of Mexico), and a population of approximately 3’438,765 inhabitants.
