Oaxaca State is found southwest of Mexico limit to the north with the State of Veracruz and with the State of Puebla; to the south, with the Pacific Ocean, to the west with the State of Chiapas and to the West with the State of Guerrero.

Oaxaca occupy a surface of 93,952 km2 (4.85% of the total surface of Mexico), and a population of approximately 3’438,765 inhabitants.

Puebla State is located in the extreme east of the basin of the river Balsas, in the Saw Eastern Mother, between the parallel 17º 52′ and 20º 40′ of north latitude and the meridian 96º 44′ and 99º 04′ of west length.

Limit to the north with the State of Veracruz, to the west with the State of Hidalgo, State of Tlaxcala, State of Estado de Mexico and with the State of Morelos and to the south with the State of Guerrero and with the State of Oaxaca. The State of Quintana Roo is located in the eastern part of the Yucatan Peninsula at the southeastern tip of Mexico. It has a surface of 50,212 square kilometers and is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea in both north and east, bordering Belize to the south and Guatemala to the west with the State of Campeche and with the State of Yucatan.

The name of Quintana Roo state, comes from Andrés Quintana Roo, a Mexican figure, who played an important role in the Independence movement and in the creation of the Republic.
